Puri, Odisha: Bollywood actor Sanjay Mishra visited the revered Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath as he begins a new chapter in his career with his first Odia-language film, Madhumalati.
The actor’s visit comes amid the shooting of Madhumalati, a romantic drama set in the 1980s. Mishra said seeking the blessings of Lord Jagannath was important to him before embarking on his first project in the Odia film industry.

For Mishra, the visit was not his first to the famous shrine. He clarified that it was his second visit to the Jagannath Temple and expressed his intention to return again in the future. He also recalled visiting Konark while working in Odisha.
