Manmohan Singh, the former prime minister, died Thursday at the age of 92. After his health worsened, the senior Congress leader was critically admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Thursday night. Singh served in the Upper House of Parliament for 33 years before retiring from the Rajya Sabha earlier this year.
The senior Congress leader passed away at the hospital on Thursday night, according to sources who spoke to Mint. Earlier in the evening, Priyanka Gandhi and other party leaders also arrived at AIIMS Delhi.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of frmr Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ji. My deepest condolences for his family and loved ones. Thank you for your service to our Nation. You will always be remembered for your Economic revolution and progressive changes, you brought to the country,” Robert Vadra wrote on X.
