Shraddha Arya’s Kundali Bhagya To Go Off Air Next Month?

Popular TV show Kundali Bhagya, which premiered in July 2017, is poised to say goodbye to its viewers next month. As per reports, the final episode of one of the long-running daily soaps will be broadcast on December 6. Reportedly, the actors and crew were notified about the development recently as well. The news came hours after two popular actors on the show, Sharddha Arya and Paras Kalnawat, bid farewell to the show.

Shakti Anand, who joined the show as Karan Luthra in March 2023, replacing Shakti Arora, expressed how shocked he was to receive the news. He told ETimes, “It’s shocking and completely unexpected for a top-rated show. I don’t even know if the story will get a proper wrap-up or if the ending will feel abrupt, considering how sudden the decision is. The news hit us like a bomb.” He added that often there were signs, such as poor TRPs or less time spent watching the episode, but nothing of the sort occurred here. There was no talk about it being under scanner or even taking a time leap. Shakti further mentioned that such a step could be imagined if the audience was overwhelmed by the storyline, but that is not the case with Kundali Bhagya.

The initial plot revolved around Preeta Arora and Karan Luthra, two individuals destined to meet despite their great differences and numerous clashes. Preeta, a kind and determined physiotherapist, meets Karan, an outspoken and flashy cricketer. The series revolves around their difficult relationship, which is full of misunderstandings, sacrifices and emotions. The deep connections between the characters, combined with unforeseen twists and high-stakes drama, captivated viewers. Many other popular names such as Sana Sayyad, Anjum Fakih and others have been part of the show.
