“Everything has its pros and cons,” Dilip Joshi stated. “Since social media is everywhere now, it has become a primary source of income for many. Just to grab eyeballs and get views, people publish completely irrelevant and fabricated stories.”
While the actor understands the clickbait nature of random social media pages, he expressed deep disappointment in mainstream media outlets that picked up the fake news without doing any basic journalistic research.
He further added, “The sad part is when renowned media houses publish these things without fact-checking. They should at least ask the production house if the news is true or fake before printing it. Instead, they act like they are in a blind race. It’s as if they feel that if they don’t publish the story immediately, a doctor will admit them to the ICU.”
Dilip Joshi’s witty yet sharp response has made one thing absolutely clear: Jethalal is not going anywhere, and his screen time is not being reduced.
